About me
Bryan Hollon, known as Boom Bip, is a Mercury Award-nominated music producer and one-half of the bands Neon Neon and Belief. He started his career in the ‘90s, building a reputation in Cincinnati through vinyl sampling, DJing, and his local radio presence, introducing downtempo and electronic music to the Midwest. He later opened Hot Wax, a vinyl record store catering to Djs. His music has taken him worldwide, performing at major festivals like Coachella, Fuji Rock, and Glastonbury. Bryan recorded two BBC Peel Sessions and landed UK record deals with prominent labels Lex and Warp. Currently, he’s focused on high-quality vinyl production at Vinyl Ceremony, a pressing plant he opened with Jason Burkhart in Pasadena to bridge the gap between artists and the manufacturing process.
