Making Vinyl Memphis

Founded Goner Records in Memphis, TN in 1993 as a way to release unreleasable records, primarily in the Garage Punk genre. Started selling mailorder out of my bedroom then partnered up with Zac Ives to create the brick and mortar Goner Records in 2004, which lead to an upturn in records released in many genres beyond the garage punk we had started with.

We also created Gonerfest, our still-running yearly festival.

Our store and label and festival continue.
